12:58hrs: The team were contacted by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service control room and asked to assist with a cyclist who had come off thier bike at speed.  The location was on a remote road above Gayle.  The Air Ambulance had also been tasked, but weather conditions were hampering thier progress.  Several team members were quickly on scene and assisted with the packaging and carrying of the casualty to the Air Ambulance, which had managed to find a window in the weather in which to land.
