The team were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service control room and asked to assist with the rescue of lady who had slipped and sustained a lower leg injury while out walking in Hackfall Woods. Local team members were soon on scene and liaised with ambulance staff to determine what equipment was required to support the rescue.
On arrival of team vehicles, a Titan stretcher and wheel was deployed with cas bag and the casualty was extracted to the road head and transferred to a road ambulance.
