The team received a call from North Yorkshire Police and were requested to respond to a lady walker who had suffered a medical episode on a remote path on the fell above West Burton. As they team deployed the Yorkshire Air Ambulance had also been requested.
On arrival at the RV we were met by a team member whose day job is a paramedic with YAS. access to the cas site would be by foot due to some fallen trees over the track. While team members were making their way to the cas site on foot, the YAA crew were able to load the casualty onto the helicopter and departed for James Cook Hospital.
