00:00hrs: The teams swiftwater rescue assets were placed on stand-by at the request of NYP. A series of flood alerts and warnings had been issued across the county as Storm Denis approached from the Atlantic. the team pre positioned to the Depot preparing equipment and awaiting deployment. The team were stood down the following morning as local rivers were able to accommodate the additional rainfall. A total of 10 team members were stood up.
