17:47hrs The team’s search dogs received a request to support Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team with a search in Hampsterley Forest. They had been tasked to assist the police with the search for a missing female. Search dog Cassie and handler Tim deployed with additional Mountain Rescue Search Dog England assets. The search was stood down later in the evening, with a view to recommence the following morning. While the search team were preparing to redeploy, they were informed that the misper had turned up safe and well at a relatives house.
