15:13hrs The team were again contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and asked attend to a female walker who had slipped and sustained a leg injury close to Gunnerside Gill. This was trhe second tasking to the area in as many days. This time the walker was on a footpath up the gill and not close to the previous accident. Team members were again quickly on scene, whewre friends of the injured walker were also on hand to direct team members to the cas site. Once packages and with the support of local Paramedic ‘Pete’ the casualty was transported on a Titan stretcher to a waiting road ambulance for transfer to hospital. We wish the injured lady a speedy recovery.
