12:20hrs The team were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and asked to respond to a walker who had slipped and fallen on wet rocks near Gunnerside. Local team members were quickly on scene and 2 team vehicles were dispatched. The casualty had sustained a lower leg injury which was splinted by team medics, while an extraction plan was put in place. The casualty was evacuated on a Bell stretcher to a waiting YAS ambulance, for onward transportation to hospital. We which our casualty a speedy recovery.
