14:38hrs The teams were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and asked to assist with the rescue of a walker who had sustained a lower leg injury while out in the dales. The location of the incident was on a footbath close to Wharton in Wensleydale. Team members where soon on scene and and were supported by a local Dales National Parks Range. The team then assisted ambulance paramedics with the treatment and packaging of the casualty, then the transportation to the waiting road ambulance.
