16:51hrs The teams Rescue Controller was contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service control and asked for assistance with the rescue of a casualty from the river bank in Richmond. A young lady had fallen onto rocks and sustain a head injury on a steep bank. Fortunately ambulance staff were quickly on scene, but request assistance with the extraction. Fortunate one of the ambulance crew is also a fellow volunteer, so the exact kit requirements and outline plan were ready to be briefed. The casualty was recovered to the waiting ambulance and transported to hospital.
