The team received its third callout of the day. Having been contacted this time by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service control room and asked to respond to a walker who was suffering from the effects of the heat while on a walk. It was unclear of the walker’s actual location, so additional information was being gained while the team stood by. Due to the walkers actual location, the phone signal was intermittent but once communications were again established it was clear the walker and his group had been supported by a local farmer, and they were all now safe and well.
The team were stood down.
