The team were contacted by the North Yorkshire Police and asked to respond to a person potentially having a stroke on a remote road between Swaledale and Wensleydale.  The callers’ phone had gone silent, but an initial location was known.  As the team deployed a local team member was cycling past the location as he received the callout.  A hasty search of the area identified the callers’ motorbike, but he could not be found.

On further investigation it became clear that a local farmer had taken the gentleman to the medical centre in Hawes

12 team members responded to this incident.
