The team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police and asked to assist with the search for a person who had become lost in bad weather in the Castle Bolton area. Thier car was stuck in snow and they were disorientated. The team deployed 2 4×4 vehicles and 10 team members to the area. Tempratures were well below -10 degrees with a bitter wind. After several hours the missing person reported seeing the team vehicles lights and he met up with team members near Castle Bolton.
