The team were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and asked to assist with the rescue of an 18YOM (year old male) who had slipped and sustained a shoulder injury. A local team member had also received a call from the YAS paramedic who covers this area and was responding. The team were called out, with vehicles waiting to deploy and local team members in Gunnerside going to the footpath to locate the injured party. A road ambulance was soon on scene and team members quickly located the casualty slowly making there was down the gill. The vehicles were stood down and the casualty handed over to the waiting road ambulance.
