The team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police and asked to assist with the rescue of a young person with a medical condition. The person was a member of a Duke of Edinburgh’s expedition who had become unwell while on a remote footpath on the fell. The area was on the border with Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, who due to location took the lead on this callout. A team vehicle with 7 team members deployed to the upper end of Coverdale, where they supported the packaging and carry off of the casualty.
