The team were contacted by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service control room and asked to assist with an elderly gentleman experiencing abdominal pains in a remote farmhouse. The ambulance could not access the cottage, so the team were tasked to transport the patient from the cottage to the farmhouse. It was also identified that the gentleman’s elderly partner also needs evacuating to another road ambulance that had been tasked to the callout. Due to the remoteness of the cottage and nature of the track, both ambulances had to reverse 1.5 Km backdown the track to the road.
