While responding to the rescue in the Punchard Gill area, reports of an injury to another DoE’er this time a 15-year-old female who had twisted an ankle and heard a snap. The group were over by Oxnop Scar area. The team quickly redeployed and team members quickly on scene. The casualty was treated, and pain relief administered and then extracted on a bell stretcher to a team vehicle, which then moved to transfer the casualty to a waiting road ambulance. Once again the group had set up a shelter the casualty prior to the team arriving.
