The team were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and asked to assist with the rescue of an 79YOF (year old female) who had suffered a small medical episode due to the heat. She was part of a well organised walking group, but the very hot weather has taken its toll. The team were very quickly on scene and the casualty treated, then transported in a specialist stretcher to a team vehicle and then to the road head and handed over to a road ambulance.
