INCIDENTS

Callout (18-33) 16/10/18 Rescue

15:02hrs: The team were contacted by the Yorkshire Ambulance control room and asked to assist with the rescue of a walker with a leg injury and breathing difficulties.  The location of the casualty was along the Penine way between Keld and the Tan Hill pub.  As the first team vehicles approached the Tan Hill, we were informewd that the casualty had managed to walk to the pub.  Team medics checked the casualties and gave advice.  

Callout (18-32) 15/09/18 Rescue

012:53hrs: The team were contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance control room and asked to assist with the rescue of a mountain biker on the Swaile Trail.  The casualty has sustained a shoulder injury and was treated by YAS Paramedics and a team cascarer.  Once stablaised, the casualty was strechered off the trail to a waiting ambulance. 

Callout (18-31) 15/10/18 Search

09:00hrs: The team search dogs were requested to support a search with Nortumbria MRT.  Search dog Olly and his handler deployed along with 2 other Mountain Rescue Search Dogs and assets from Teesdale and Weardale MRT.  After 2 hours search and area to the West of Sunderland close to the Bowes Buisness Park, Seach dog Tess made a find. 

Callout (18-30) 10/09/18 Search

07:00hrs: The team were contacted by Cleveland MRT and asked to assist with the search for a young child who had gone missing from home.  As assets were delpoying to the search are, the news that the child had been found safe and well came through.  

Callout (18-29) 08/09/18 Rescue

15:32hrs: Turning out to be a busy day.  As the equipment was being put away after this mornings callout another request from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Control Room, this time to assist with the rescue of a mountain biker in woods close to Catterick Village.  The team arrived and supported the ambulance crew with the extraction of the casualty to the waiting road ambulance. 

Callout (18-28) 08/09/18 Rescue

12:55hrs: The team were contacted by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Control Room and asked to assist with the rescue and extraction of a casualty from Hack Fall woods, near Masham.  The original called had been passed to our neighbouring team UWFRA but was quickly forwarded on.  The casualty was carried to the waiting Air Ambulance and transported to hospital.
